Message	down on some turbos. a 2871 is a 3071 compressor wheel with a 2860(disco potato) turbine wheel. The 3071 has a much larger turbine wheel but same compressor as the 2871. both turbos are a lot bigger then a 2860 aka 28rs aka 2860. People make close to 700rwhp with the 2860 so imagine going two big sizes up in a turbo. BTW his car didn't have a lot of things like AC power steering, the trunk part was gutted but he had the front part of the interior in. The reason why he was secretive was cause he charged outrageous prices for things the average person(you and I) could buy for a lot less. SO I figure he thought if we didn't know, everyone would just have to go to him. Little did he know all you need is a set of calipers to measure turbine and compressor wheels and you can figure out what turbo it was.
